JM: How many different blocks were there? Timmy: I don't honestly know. Frost proof is massive. There are maybe 50
pods housing up to 70 inmates. They are not all in use. Annex has
about 6 dorms. Each has way too many inmates for what it was
designed for. Michael: not sure. think 5 or 6 Lindsay: 5_6
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Timmy: I don't remember the names. Michael: no. but where i was was called the special needs
unit or s.n.u. Lindsay: M,N,O,Q,R
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Timmy: There are maximum security dorms at Frostproof but they only
differ from the rest in the number of total inmates they hold. Max
dorms are half size. There is a protective custody dorm and a max
dorm at the annex but they are are small 2 man cells. Michael: different security levels im sure Lindsay: All poor peopleyes
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Timmy: Best: Frostproof. Frostproof, has large and spacious dorms. Ample
shower facilities. A toilet in every 2 man cell. More telephones. 2
televisions. Worst: Annex. It is a hell hole. The only saving grace is
that it is temporary. Michael: worst part. first 2 nights. was in a cell with 2
others, had to sleep on a blanket on the
floor.wasnt allowed any clothes (inmate could
use clothing to try to kill themselves!) light
on 24 hrs. a day! food was horrible. wouldnt
feed a dog that slop.
